Rachel McAdams was born in London, OntarioOctober 7, 1978, McAdams began her career with parts in small films but became truly famous when she took roles in the teen movies The Hot Chick, and Mean Girls. McAdams followed these successful movies with the film adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' novel The Notebook. Since then McAdams has had roles in Wedding Crashers, Red Eye and The Family Stone, McAdams will also have roles in the upcoming movies State of Play and The Time Traveller s Wife.
