Xiaomi is best known for its electronic products, namely smartphones. But the company often dabbles with other products which are completely different from its technological backgrounds. These offshoots include bags, sneakers and even a travel suitcase which is transparent.
On November 27th, Xiaomi’s official Weibo account announced the limited edition transparent version of the Mi Suitcase. The unique travel partner arrives exclusively to certain Xiaomi Home flagship stores in seven different cities. It will be available starting from 30th November 2019 and will carry a price tag of 499 Yuan or roughly 71 US dollars.

According to the official notes, the transparent suitcase from Xiaomi is made with urban elements in mind. What it exactly means is open to anyone’s imagination, but the unique and bold design will help it grab public and media attention. See below for more details.

The transparent edition has been seen before under a different guise by Xiaomi. Previously, 90 points suitcases released a transparent suitcase to mark its third anniversary after becoming one of the most successful Xiaomi product lineups in and outside of China.
