Si c'est pas malheureux... Dans un souci (louable) d'économie, vous envisagez de couler un seuil en béton pour la porte de votre garage plutôt que de vous ruiner dans une pierre bleue Néanmoins, comme vous êtes un homme de goût, vous prenez grand soin de choisir un savant mélange de sable du Rhin et de sable blanc, et de doser votre ciment de telle façon que votre seuil - si vous le lissez avec zèle et le polissez amoureusement - aura une fois sec un bel aspect fini qui ne déparera pas l'ensemble. Vous passez des heures à préparer votre coffrage, vous armez d'un treillis métallique pour que le béton ne se fendille pas au passage de la voiture et, après avoir coulé votre mélange, vous repassez la platresse à plusieurs heures d'intervalle, afin d'éliminer la laitance à mesure qu'elle remonte à la surface pour que le seuil soit aussi lisse que possible.
Enfin, le lendemain matin, le ventre noué par l'émotion, vous vous apprêtez à découvrir au grand jour le fruit de votre labeur...
